Let $\mathcal{M}_{\mathrm{parH}}$ denote the moduli space of semistable parabolic Higgs bundles over $X$. In this article, we study the Picard group of $\mathcal{M}_{\mathrm{par}}$ and $\mathcal{M}_{\mathrm{parH}}$.
