Together with parts I, 2, 3, 4, and 6, it partially supersedes remove conflicting material. In the meantime, where conflict arises between these documents, the provisions of BS EN ISO 22282-5:2012 take precedence. The test given in this standard is included in BS 5930:1999+A2:2010 (Clause 25.4), and conflicting parts are now withdrawn. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee B/526, Geotechnics, to Subcommitee B/526/3, Site investigation and ground testing.
